64 DS
I was right. Putting a crap game on a small device doesn't make it any better.
Mario 64 was always a game with two main objectives:
- Work out how to make the camera show you what you need to see
- Work out how to get the Control Stick to affect the game in a predictable and meaningful way
Which isn't my definition of fun. No matter how bleeding edge it was.
Putting it on a handheld device doesn't help with the Camera and makes the Control even more impenetrable.
Boy, do I wish that Mr Driller had come out on time; then I wouldn't have wasted my time and money.
At least the mini games are fun and do use the touch screen in a good way. Shame I have to battle my way through the control system of the main game to get to play them.
